Please Welcome Our New Borough Manager
-Charlie Richcreek-
Dear Goldsboro Residents,
The Borough Council and Search Committee have been working on the daunting task of replacing our retiring Borough Manager, Lee Fishel for several months. After careful consideration of many candidates, it is our pleasure to announce Charlie Richcreek as our new Borough Manager.
Charlie grew up in the area and has been part of the Goldsboro community for many years. He has done work for Goldsboro since 1985, working closely with Lee Fishel in supporting our community infrastructure. His knowledge of our buildings and our electrical, water, sewer and stormwater systems will be invaluable in his new position. Charlie’s background and experience in construction as a licensed plumber and electrician operating his own company for 35 years will be a strong asset, as well.
Charlie was a Township Supervisor for 6 years providing him with experience in community affairs and municipal operations.
Charlie comes to us with a vision of engaging with the community, making Goldsboro a better place in which to live and work. We believe he is committed to work diligently to support our residents and their best interests.
We look forward to working with Charlie who will be starting in his new position on October 14, 2019. We have asked Lee Fishel to work with Charlie for two months to provide as smooth a transition as possible. Please be thoughtful and considerate during the transition as our team will be working hard and doing their best.
Please join us in welcoming Charlie Richcreek as our new Goldsboro Borough Manager!
